Visited for an event at the racecourse and pleasantly surprised. Self check in simple to do and room was clean and modern. Yes its more basic but for the price and location its reasonable. Could smell paint in hallway so wondered if they were renovating some of the rooms/areas vs the older reviews you see here. I was above the main entrance but didnt hear any other guests the whole time. There was a little noise from the road but for 1 night and the value cant complain.

Rooms are basic but ok. Receptionists are so kind and helpful. Only thing I wish they bought back is the breakfast.. it was lovely and was nice to chat to the people who work there

They left the window open so bugs were in my room, and an alarm was going off in the hallway at 11pm and it took someone 45 minutes to come turn it off because no one mains the front lobby. Bed sucked but that's no surprise. Def pick a dif hotel unless this is dirt cheap.
