So we recently stayed for five days , we found the caravan wasn’t overly clean sofas and carpets had stains and rail lose . however we knew how busy the staff must be . paid for internet we then couldn’t even get on then have a week wait for a refund . shower was leaking under caravan they did sort this promptly . The reception staff were really nice and helpful . outside pool is beautiful and very clean. Indoor pool very tired looking . We had a meal in the boat house whitch was lovley . Show bar waiting for drinks was always a long wait and seemed to not be enough staff to deal with both bars . Show bar again looking very tired . We went swimming had forgot the floaty for the two year old there was a huge pile in the corner we asked could we lend one untill we had done swimming gone and got a wallet and then able to buy one . the young girl said “ i’m really sorry they are for activities so we can’t lend them out . yet there were no activities at that time . The last night my son was punched in the face and stomach boys arguing over football . however i spoke to pete on security who took the time to talk to my ten year old and assure him he was safe ! as he was by then extremely upset and hard to calm as he’s neurodiverse . Pete was soo kind to both children and helped my son feel at ease again i’m very grateful to him for this . When we arrived there were weeds and fag butts all under the van however two days later they were strimming under them . shame as tbh a lot of the grounds look untidy especially the way to que for outdoor pool bird feathers and poo all over such a shame as it could be so much nicer . the crew were all very nice . overall the park needs a good tidy up . But you could see the staff were trying their best . However we spent most of the time off site .

Nice place to stay for families. We went in term time so was quiet but there were a few families there - the kids played together which was nice. The staff are all friendly. Jenny who does the kids shows is lovely - made my daughter feel included in activities and she enjoyed herself! It's a short bus ride to the pier if you don't have a car. Would recommend.

On arrival there was lots of ants inside as well as dirt on the floor. You can tell it wasn’t cleaned properly. The tv aerial was broke and took 2 days for sometime to fix it. I did expect there to be towels but there wasn’t. However I did enjoy my time and the outdoor swimming pool and sun beds were really nice and it was included with our overall cost. Location was good it was close to Clacton pier and beach which was nice and also only around 30 mins from Colchester zoo. Very close to supermarkets to buy your food. Bed and pillows was nice but the spare duvet has a really horrible smell on it so luckily we didn’t have anyone that needed to use it. To be honest customer service was lacking at reception. I probably wouldn’t come back to this resort but I didn’t have a bad time
