Highfield Grange Holiday Park

Be very careful who you rent from. We rented this private caravan from Family friendly caravan park for 2 nights, but we only stayed for 1 night because the conditions were unacceptable. The listing advertised Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a spa, and a garden view, but none of these were available. The caravan was in a terrible condition. The front door was broken and could not be locked properly, which made us feel unsafe. Everything was very dirty. There was a strong smell of dogs throughout the caravan, dog hair everywhere, dirty carpets, and unclean bedding. There were also dirty clothes left inside the wardrobes by the owner. We were travelling with our 9-month-old baby, and we couldn't let him crawl on the carpet because it was so dirty and the smell was unbearable. We had to cover the bed with our own towels and blanket just to be able to sleep for one night. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend renting this caravan. Please be careful when booking from this private owner.

Their customer service was outstanding.. they were friendly, welcoming and made sure I was well looked after. Proper genuine people who made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back. Spent some time here recently. Oh dear! Caravans had soiled and very dirty seating, vinyl flooring had lumps big enough to trip over, generally outside of every caravan is an ashtray. Caravan next to mine had a man with his shirt off, coughing his guts up every morning smoking on the steps all the while everything they owned was strewn about the grass....lovely. Got a real sense of what it must be like living in some of the worst council sites going here! Staff were friendly albeit all under 25, rhe general feeling was they are not paid enough to inspire them! Breakfast i wouldn't recommend. Sent it back once, and left the rest. For £36 for 3 breakfasts....go elsewhere! Toby carvery or premier inn offer cheaper better selection. The chef here couldn't cook sausages or bacon. Overall. Wouldn't go back if it was free! Apparently its had a multi million pound refit....not sure where but if you can convince me im wrong about what i say then ill post the pictures of what I experienced!

Very good place we travelled 7 hours and everything you need is on site or a 15 minute drive we loved it the down fall for the duration we were here for was teenagers using the laundrette to sing scream and blast music at midnight and on site would not do anything about this and having my children woken up scared being right across from this was the only bad thing. Other wise overall clean and very well organised plenty to do
