Through the door of Falcon Cottage you enter a bright, open-plan living space with views across rolling countryside towards Linlithgow. The heart of the property is arranged on a single floor, with a sitting room dominated by a working wood burner and underfloor heating, flowing through to a dining kitchen where you can cook properly. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are distributed throughout; the principal bedroom has an ensuite and smart TV, while the other two rooms each have zip-and-link beds that convert from doubles into two singles. A utility room with washing and tumble drying means you can stay longer without packing extra clothes.

The cottage sits on a working arable farm between Linlithgow and Bo'ness, built in 2021 to high standards. You get the essentials—electricity, heating, linen, towels and wifi—plus initial fuel for the burner, a welcome pack, and use of the garden with its sitting-out area and BBQ. There's private parking for four cars and an electric charging point if you need it, plus a bike store. A travel cot and highchair are available. Note that several steps connect different rooms, so it is not fully accessible on one level.

This is the kind of base from which you can explore Central Scotland properly, or simply settle in for a quiet break in the countryside. The property does not permit smoking.
