Always call and book your slot if you will be using the swimming pool. Usually you would get an hour slot, get given a wrist band and will need to leave after that. The pool is shallow and is excellent for families with children. Shower and changing rooms facilities are mixed gender but clean and next to the pool. You also have access to the steam room and sauna.

Could do with more parking, when alot of events are on can be difficult to find a spaces for your class time. Pool is a little onbth cold wide for baby swim classes and could do with some extra changing rooms with baby table as it can be hard to get one with class change overs

I have been a member for a good number of years but now considering leaving. The membership has now went to a price where I am questioning if I joined bannantynes or similar I would be getting more for my money. The pool times are poor and most of the time it is kids swimming lessons or something like that where you can’t use the pool. On a weekend or Friday night you can’t use the pool as it’s closed for lessons or closes early. I do like the blue relaxing night in a Wednesday but this should be carried out most nights and a Friday for sure. I am not a massive fan of the gym update as the small room at the front is too small and I miss the one layout of the Astro and the pushing weight- it had way more space. I also think it’s ridiculous that racket hire is £5 per person even when paying for a membership- this should be reconsidered.

Very good swimming pool, it's not deep so not ideal for adult swimming, perfectly doable though. Kids area is very good. I especially liked that it's clean and good light. My son loves it every time
