Garden Cottage suits couples or small families after a quieter base with character. This former stable conversion sits in the grounds of the owner's home, a short walk from Linlithgow's town centre. The property gives you a double and a single bedroom, one bathroom, and a combined living, dining and kitchen space on the first floor. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and electricity are included, and night storage heating keeps things warm through winter.

The appeal is the private walled garden on the south side, furnished and with a barbecue, plus the views across to the Royal Palace and its parkland. Parking for one car is on site. You're within a few hundred yards of local shops, restaurants and bars, a leisure centre, and the railway station—Edinburgh is 20 minutes away by train. The Forth area has golf courses, country parks, Stirling Castle and the Falkirk Wheel all within reasonable driving distance. No smoking inside.

Perfect place to stay in Linlithgow. It's small but well laid out and super comfy.

Only been here a few days and still have some to go. Great location even better hosts. I've been to Stirling and Edinburgh so far and Linlithgow has a good rail service. Very quiet area. Locals are friendly and plenty of places to eat and drink locally. I would highly recommend the Garden Cottage

Great two bedroom apartment in excellent location with a fabulous view of the palace. Everything you need for a longer stay is provided. The only critique would be that, if you need both bedrooms, storage for suitcases is restricted.

Lovely cottage. Easy to get into town, train Station Close by and some beautiful areas to visit. Try the Loch, Castle, canal and the 2 Country parks close by. And for views go to Cockleshot hill just up the road.
