What visitors say
Brilliant Scout campsite with a nice mix of open fields and wooded areas for camping and a couple of lodge options for indoor accommodation. Lots of activities available also. Has a rustic appeal, feeling more like an old school Scout campsite than a modern PGL type

I usually look at the 1 star reviews because they are more interesting but this is actually a 5 star review ☆☆☆☆☆ it is an amazing place, just right for cubs and scouts, and the weather was too hot!

Came to Lyons Copse as part of the agoonoree scout camp, a special needs scout camp for young people aged 14-25. The site is large and easily has enough space for several different groups to camp. Good facilities that mean scouts can have a great time on camp - climbing, shooting, archery, caving bus, axe throwing, campfire circle, obstacle course, rafting. Buildings with accommodation in also on site in case of very bad weather

Amazing Scout Activity centre, with loads of activities for children on site. We have used the Pines cabin and little log cabins just outside the main hut a couple of times and re booked again as we all love it so much as a Cub Team. The Pines cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with 2 separate rooms 8 bunkbeds with matresses and heating. The outside log cabins have electric points and lighting and a further 11 bunks outside. Activities include a natural pond with ready made rafts, (only a couple of feet deep, adventure trail activities, archery, range for rifle shooting, orienteering, 28 ft climbing tower and Bouldering activity area.
