I had an excellent week at Park Lodge looked after by Martin. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are fantastic and hand prepared by the host to personal taste. Off street parking and a great pub (the squirrel) make this a top place to stay. Will definitely use again.

Had a lovely stay in the Park Lodge Guest House for my work trip this week, Martin the owner has been absolutely amazing and always helping us with anything we needed even without being asked and has been very accommodating around our work schedule and has not failed to disappoint! 10/10 Martin and a very big thank you for everything!

A fantastic guest house, with a great host. Friendly, reasonably priced and complete with a great breakfast. The owner Martin clearly loves what he does, going out of his way to greet guests and makes the stay a great experience. Rooms are clean and well kept, with comfortable beds. Would highly recommend and am looking forward to staying again.

Stayed here in a family room, with my Husband and 7 year old son February 2025. We received a warm welcome, the owners couldn't be more accomodating and considerate of their guests. The location was perfect for us being less than 5 minute walk from our daughters home, but it is ideally located for rail and road links with the town centre only a couple of miles away. There is a very cosy local pub within easy walking distance, The Squirrel. The room was very comfortable with an ensuite. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a variety of options including cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast and of course a full English. This accommodation provided excellent value for money.
