What visitors say
Had the most amazing stay at Dovercoyrt, immaculate caravan, very clear roads to caravan, clean and tidy park, lots of great entertainment. We as a family, grandparents, parents, children and two dogs, had the most amazing holiday at this site. Would definitely book again. All made welcome Thank you 🙏🏼

I’m probably like most people in the UK who groan at the thought of a few nights away in a caravan resort. BUT, Dovercourt definitely changed my view on that. The Caravan was immaculate as was the site itself. Loads of lovely staff cleaning and looking after you. The pool was lovely, clean and reasonably warm water for Late Oct. The site has lots to do and a lovely beach walk. The main hun is great for families with great kids entertainment, plenty of staff serving at the bar and again it’s really clean. No sticky tables and carpets here!!! The site itself has quite a few things to keep you amused during the day. The crazy golf was actually really good with holes that were really tricky. My teens loved the arcades (they were not that expensive). My wife and I were more than happy in the bar where it was warm, the beer was cheap and tasty and if it’s your thing you could have a nightly game of Bingo. I’d come here again as it was good value and I’m going to definitely make sure I get some mates to come with their families in other caravans as it’s a great venue for larger groups of families.

Excellent Holiday Park with Easy access to Beach !!! Things I loved most were 1. Swimming pool with water Slide 2. Entertainment activities from 6-10 pm everyday with interactive games 3. Kids activity zone with Tie Dye, Wax hands, sand art 4. Ten min walk to Beach. Cliff view of beach is amazing (should go near sunset time) 5. Reception called to check if everything is fine. When I mentioned My washroom door was not getting locked - I guy came in within 10 mins to fix it !! (Superb service) Only let down I would say was getting only 45 mins in swimming pool day each day…

Dovercourt Holiday Park – A Disappointing Stay Having recently visited Dovercourt Holiday Park, I feel compelled to share an honest account of our experience — one that, unfortunately, left much to be desired. Upon arrival, our lodge was not in an acceptable condition. The room contained empty beer cans left behind from previous guests, the cutlery was visibly unclean, and the floors were stained. For a paying guest, this standard of cleanliness on arrival is simply not good enough. That said, the lodge itself offered a genuinely stunning view, which was a welcome highlight, and the staff throughout our stay were consistently friendly, approachable, and helpful — a credit to the park. The on-site shop, however, was a letdown. The selection was extremely limited and failed to cater to basic everyday needs, with pricing that felt unreasonable given what was on offer. Similarly, the arcade — while a nice idea in principle — had several machines out of order, including the air hockey and a racing game, which detracted from the overall experience, particularly for families. The bar offered a modest drinks selection, nothing exceptional, though again the staff made the experience more pleasant than it might otherwise have been. Perhaps most concerning were the experiences reported by members of our wider group, who had booked separate accommodation at the same park. One guest’s toaster caused an electrical fault and, rather than being replaced, they were simply advised not to use it — a response that falls well below the standard of care guests should reasonably expect. Another guest’s television broke during their stay and was never repaired. In summary, while the views are lovely and the staff are genuinely a strength, the park falls short in cleanliness, maintenance, and value for money. Unless significant improvements are made, I would not recommend Dovercourt Holiday Park to others seeking a relaxing and well-maintained getaway. Video below is the view Thank you for reading hope this helps
