Abington 14

The Fife coastline near St Andrews draws visitors for golf, medieval history and the East Neuk's quiet villages. Abington 14 sits within Stewart's Resort Group, a few minutes' drive from town, giving you access to restaurants, shops and the championship courses without the bustle of staying in St Andrews itself. The lodge is compact but properly finished, with everything on one level—a practical setup for families or groups.

Three bedrooms sleep six: a king with its own toilet, and two rooms with single beds plus pull-out singles stored underneath (the bedrooms are genuinely small, so when both are raised there's limited floorspace). A shower room serves the rest of the property. The open-plan living and dining area has a smart TV and electric fire; the kitchen is fully fitted with a gas oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Your own decking overlooks a sitting area with garden furniture, and you have exclusive use of a hot tub for two.

The resort also offers a shared gym, sauna and steam room if you want them. One small dog is welcome. Parking is provided for two cars, and smoking is not permitted.
