Bruar Lodge

Bruar Lodge is fully equipped for a self-catering break: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave; heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and fresh linen are all included; and there's private parking for two cars on the resort grounds. One bedroom has a king-size bed with ensuite shower, the other contains two singles, and a second full bathroom serves the property. The open-plan living space includes a wood-effect electric burner and connects to a private decking area, where you can eat or simply sit out. Guests can use the on-site sauna and gym facilities, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The lodge sits within a 100-acre resort in Fife's countryside, yet St Andrews is only five minutes' drive away. That proximity matters: the town has its famous golf courses, but also a medieval town centre with cobbled streets, a university heritage, castle ruins, a cathedral, and a wide sandy beach where seals are regularly spotted. Local shops, cafés and restaurants line the old streets. The resort itself includes woodland walks across its landscaped grounds. Smoking is not permitted inside. One dog stays free of charge.
