Burnside Place works well for couples, small families or friends wanting their own space by the Fife coast. The two bedrooms—one double, one twin—and single bathroom sit on the ground floor, with a living room and kitchen also downstairs. Everything you need for self-catering is here: a cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, and the essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. There's a back garden with seating, bike storage, and parking on site. One pet can stay for free.
Anstruther is a working fishing town with a proper harbour, a five-minute walk from the cottage. The town centre has restaurants, cafes and chip shops; the Scottish Fisheries Museum explores the area's maritime past. Beyond town, the Fife Coastal Path runs for miles along the shoreline, good for walking or cycling. Kayaking, canoeing and paddle-boarding are possible from the beach. St Andrews—famous for golf and its own beaches—is a short drive inland. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
