Making Waves is a traditional fisherman's cottage on the Fife coast, positioned directly overlooking the shore near Anstruther Harbour. The property is thoroughly equipped: the kitchen has a full range of appliances including dishwasher and washing machine, there is a television and entertainment system in the living room, Wi-Fi throughout, and heating is covered. Bed linen and towels are provided. An enclosed garden with patio furniture looks out over the water, and a balcony offers additional outdoor space.
Across three bedrooms, the property sleeps up to five guests. Bedroom 1 is a zip-and-link super king-size (which can be two singles on request), Bedroom 2 is a double, and Bedroom 3 is a smaller double. There is one bathroom with bath and shower, plus an ensuite shower room. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be arranged if needed. The cottage does not permit smoking.
Cellardyke itself is quiet, but Anstruther is within walking distance and has shops, restaurants and pubs. The Fife Coastal Path runs nearby for walkers, and the Millennium Cycle Way offers 300 miles of routes through quieter terrain. Boat trips to the Isle of May depart from the harbour, where you may spot puffins and seals.
