A single-storey fisherman's cottage in Anstruther, Fidra sits on a quiet street close to the shoreline. Everything is on the ground floor, accessible via three steps to the entrance. Inside, an open-plan living space combines the lounge, dining area and kitchen; the bedroom holds a double bed, and there is a shower room with heated towel rail. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered.

Anstruther's harbour, shops and restaurants lie just 300 yards away, many serving locally caught seafood. The East Neuk of Fife's fishing villages and beaches stretch along the Fife Coastal Path; St Andrews is 9 miles inland. From the cottage, boat trips depart to the Isle of May, a nature reserve known for puffins and grey seals. One car can park on site. The property does not allow smoking. Dogs are welcome.
