Ivy Cottage

A recently renovated cottage in the heart of Falkland, Ivy Cottage combines period character with contemporary comfort. The ground floor opens into a single living space where you can cook, eat and relax by the wood burner on colder days. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than making do. Upstairs, two bedrooms and a shower room complete the layout: one bedroom has a zip-and-link king bed that converts to twin singles, the other a standard double.

Falkland sits in a pocket of Fife surrounded by the Lomond Hills, with walking routes ranging from village rambles to the summit of West Lomond. The Covenanter Hotel is within a mile, and the village has traditional pubs, tearooms and shops within easy reach. Falkland Palace and its gardens lie just outside the village centre. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the wood burner are all included; there is on-road parking and a bike store. No smoking inside.
