Low Tide
Fife
This single-bedroom apartment occupies the ground floor of a converted property in Cellardyke, a working fishing village on the Fife coast. One person operates the entrance; the whole interior spreads across one level, from the open-plan living space through to the bedroom and bathroom. The living room has an electric woodburner, a DVD player and a television, while French doors open onto a shared south-facing garden where you can watch the fishing boats come and go. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob for proper cooking, and there's a washer-dryer tucked away.
The double bedroom sleeps two, and the bathroom has a bath with shower. Essentials including electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property does not permit smoking.
Cellardyke sits at the edge of the Fife Coastal Path, which runs towards Crail and St Andrews in one direction and Pittenweem in the other. The village itself has narrow lanes and a working harbour within walking distance. A pub is less than a mile away. St Andrews is ten miles off; Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth are all within an hour's drive.
