Rumpys

Anstruther is one of the East Neuk's most characterful fishing villages, with a working harbour, independent shops and restaurants clustered along the waterfront. Rumpys sits in a quiet residential street just above the village, close enough that you can walk down to the centre in minutes but far enough back for genuine peace. The house itself is detached, recently refurbished, and designed to sleep eight across four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The ground floor holds two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one with singles—and a shower room. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for cooking; it opens through patio doors onto an enclosed garden where a private hot tub takes centre stage, surrounded by seating areas. The living room upstairs has enough space for the whole party to gather. Two more kingsize bedrooms and another shower room occupy the first floor. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all provided. The house has private parking for four cars.

Anstruther works well as a base for exploring Fife's coastline, visiting St Andrews, or simply spending time in the village itself. It's a place where families and groups actually want to spend their time, rather than somewhere to sleep between activities elsewhere. No smoking throughout.
