The Garden Holidays - Grieves Cottage

Grieves Cottage works equally well for a family needing space, couples after a comfortable getaway, or groups of friends wanting somewhere to relax together. The four bedrooms are split across two floors—two on the ground level, two upstairs—each with its own bathroom. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included, along with initial fuel for the open fire. If you're travelling with young children, a travel cot, highchair and fireguard are provided.

The ground floor centres on a living room with an open fire and smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—electric oven and hob, dishwasher and American-style fridge. Doors lead directly onto the private garden, useful for morning coffee or letting people spread out. Two of the bedrooms have baths with shower attachments; the others have cubicle showers. Parking for two cars sits on the property, and the whole cottage is yours alone with no other guests.

Location-wise, you're positioned to explore Fife's coastline, reach St Andrews or drive through to Edinburgh. The cottage sits within the historic Rossie Estate, where guests receive free entry to the Walled Garden at Backhouse Rossie and its labyrinth. No smoking indoors.
