Fife sits between the Forth and the Tay, and West Cottage places you within reach of the county's full range: St Andrews and its beach are under an hour away, Edinburgh and Dundee likewise, and Glasgow a little over. The cottage itself stands just outside Freuchie, a village positioned between Cupar and Glenrothes, with countryside visible from both front and rear—the Lomond Hills to one side, the Ochils to the other.
The whole property is yours: three bedrooms across one floor, sleeping six comfortably. The master has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower; the other two are each a zip-and-link arrangement that can be configured as a double or two singles. A family bathroom serves the rest of the house. The ground floor opens into a single living and dining space, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave—and enough space for a family to spread out. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included.
Behind the cottage, a private enclosed garden holds garden furniture and a barbecue. Off-street parking accommodates three cars. One dog stays free. The local area has restaurants, pubs and cafes dotted through nearby villages, and the M90 motorway is close enough to make exploring the wider region straightforward, whether you're drawn to the coast, the towns or the hills. Smoking is not permitted inside.
