The Piggery

The Piggery is a single-storey cabin sleeping two in the Clwydian Range, built around outdoor living. Everything is on the ground floor: a bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite shower, plus an external kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and fridge where you can prepare meals to eat outside. The garden includes a gas barbecue, firepit, and sitting areas. You have sole use of a private tennis court on the grounds. Parking for two cars is on site, and wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One pet is welcome.

The setting suits people who want to cook and spend time outdoors rather than be cooped up inside. An unfenced lake is within the grounds, worth knowing about. Mold, a market town with independent shops and cafés, is nearby. The area around here draws walkers and people interested in the outdoors; Moel Famau, a hill with views from its summit, is in the locality. The North Wales coast is within reach for a day trip. No smoking inside.
