SeaGrass

SeaGrass works well for families or groups of six looking for a proper base by the coast. The whole property is yours, arranged on a single storey with three bedrooms—a kingsize, a double, and two singles—plus two bathrooms, so people have space to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and American fridge freezer, and the living and dining areas flow into a conservatory. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included; heating is gas central.

The back garden has a patio and sitting-out area with furniture, and you can park three cars on the property. Greatstone beach is about 50 yards away—a genuine walk-across-the-road situation. From the garden, there's a 180-degree view across to the sea, and you can also see the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch model steam railway through a feature fence. The nearby coast is known for sand yachting and parasailing. A local pub is a 20-minute walk; shops and restaurants are within two miles. New Romney is a 15-minute drive, and local buses run from the area. No smoking inside.
