About Beachborough Park

Beachborough Park suits guests who want a calm base near Folkestone rather than a full-service hotel experience, particularly those breaking a journey via the Channel Tunnel or looking for a peaceful few nights in the Kent countryside. The setting, in Newington just outside the town, keeps things quiet, with a garden and outdoor seating giving guests somewhere to sit away from the road.

Rooms are en-suite and come with practical touches such as a kettle and fan, and some units include a well-equipped kitchen for those wanting more independence. Breakfast is continental and is often brought straight to the room, which guests have found a genuinely useful start to the day. There's free WiFi throughout, drinks available in the room, a gym on-site, and 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals. Free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point make it straightforward for drivers, and pets are welcome.

Beyond the property, the surrounding area offers walking routes, golf and fishing nearby, along with pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out. Staff have been noted as accommodating, and the overall pace here is unhurried, making it a practical choice for a stopover or a low-key short break rather than a destination in itself.

We had an excellent summer cottage stay at Beachborough Park before our Le Shuttle crossing the next morning. It is ideally located for the train, and situated in lovely peaceful surroundings. It was perfect for our dog too after a long car journey. The breakfast served to our room was also excellent. Highly recommended.

What can I say, such a lovely peaceful location. The hosts were so caring and attentive. My arrival time to them was later than I originally told them due to traffic on my way down but they were so accommodating and helpful, even gave us a courtesy phonecall on my journey down to make sure everything was okay. The rooms are so cosy and the beds rather comfortable and plush. The amenities in the room are exactly what you need for a calm stay, kettle, coffee/tea bits, a fan for when it's warm, a radiator for when it's chilly etc. Cannot praise them enough, gutted my stay with them is so short, seems like a lovely place to spend whole weekends here.

Absolutely fantastic and value for money. The host is very friendly and informative. Brought our two dogs and there is a field next to the property that they could walk off lead, and also a courtyard where they could go just before bed. The room, although small, was more that ample for our needs, containing some draws and a desk, a bathroom and a wardrobe. Was given a continental breakfast to take away, as we were leaving early.for the tunnel. Will be traveling quite a bit between the UK and Europe and will be using again. Highly recommended
