About Paddlesworth Court Farm

Tucked into the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Paddlesworth Court Farm offers spacious, pet-friendly pitches just ten minutes from Folkestone's seafront. This relaxed site welcomes campfires and barbecues – firepits are available to borrow, though bringing your own is wise. Basic facilities include toilets, water points and chemical disposal, plus there's an on-site dog park and good local walking straight from the pitch.

The farm sits in a recognised dark sky area, so clear nights bring impressive stargazing. It's a handy base for coastal exploration or a convenient overnight stop for cross-Channel travellers, being 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel terminal and 20 from Dover. Hawkinge's shops and pubs are a mile and a half away, with Folkestone's larger amenities an easy drive.

While some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places, the warm welcome, peaceful setting and flexibility around group bookings (rallies, D of E, students all welcome) make this a practical, no-fuss countryside stopover.

About 14 minutes drive is a beautiful sandy beach. 7 minutes drive to local shops. Very relaxed atmosphere .Owner was very friendly. Also good value for money. I would recomend this camping and I would visit again.

The location was perfect. It was quiet and I enjoyed my time alone. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my tent got raided 2 nights in a row by either a fox or the farm owners dog. Also the toilets were basic and from what I saw there was no shower facilities. However saying all this I would go back.

Had to put atleast 1 star to write a review. The worst thing about this place for us was that as soon as we pulled in there was HORNETS attacking the car, loads of them and they were everywhere. Planned with the owner for my partner and I to come down and pay cash on arrival. We were gonna stay sunday to Tuesday. But we got there today and no one answered nor turned up for ages... everything was over grown, the toilets were awful, there was absolutely no shade at all. No security or control at all. Just a strange place really. Don't waste your money travelling to it. If you live close by it may be convenient. But not for tents only campers. Didn't bother with photos
