Appletree Barn is a converted barn on a small holding near Blakeney, with views stretching across the River Severn towards Cotswolds hills and Gloucester Cathedral on clear days. The single bedroom and bathroom sit on the ground floor alongside an open-plan living space, where a woodburner and patio doors open onto a large enclosed patio. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge—and there's a utility room with washing machine. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

Walking directly from the garden into Forest of Dean woodland puts you minutes from trails through one of England's most established forests. The surrounding area draws outdoor enthusiasts year-round: the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sits nearby with fishing, canoeing, rock climbing and mountain biking on offer, while attractions including GoApe, Puzzlewood and Tintern Abbey are within visiting distance. The patio and sitting area make the most of the views; garden furniture is provided. One car can park on site. No smoking is permitted.
