Walking through the door of Holly Cottage, you step straight into the heart of the place—a generous open-plan ground floor that runs from kitchen through dining to living space. A woodburner anchors the room, with a Freeview Smart TV, Netflix and DVD player for quieter evenings. The kitchen has everything needed for proper cooking: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and full fridge-freezer. A utility room with washing machine and separate toilet complete the ground floor.

Upstairs are three bedrooms: two doubles at 4ft 6in, and a bunk room with a single 3ft bunk (upper bunk for children only). A family bathroom has a bath with shower over it and heated towel rail. The cottage sleeps six and is yours alone—no shared spaces. One dog is welcome and must stay on a lead in the grounds, which means the surrounding sheep country. The enclosed lawn has seating and a barbecue; bike storage is provided for exploring the forest trails on your doorstep.

Essentials are covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, plus logs for the woodburner to get you started. There's parking for one or two cars on the drive, with additional spaces by the side gate. The property is not suitable for anyone who needs mobility aids or assistance.
