About Achintee Farm Guest House
Achintee Farm Guest House sits at Achintee, on the eastern bank of the River Nevis directly opposite the main Glen Nevis visitor centre, at the point where the Mountain Track begins its climb up Ben Nevis. It remains a working farm as well as a guest house, giving it a genuinely rural, unpolished character compared with hotels closer to town.
Rooms are simple and comfortable, geared towards walkers rather than a country house stay, with a hearty breakfast served before early starts on the mountain. A bunkhouse on the same site offers a budget option for larger walking groups.
Its position right at the foot of the Ben Nevis path is the main draw, cutting out the drive or walk that most other accommodation requires before setting off, though it sits a couple of miles from Fort William's shops and restaurants along the glen road.

This was such a lovely place to stay at the base of Ben Nevis. We were in a self catering unit and had all the supplies we needed. The bed was very comfy and the owners were absolutely lovely!

Lovely people here looking after a lovely place. Nice comfortable beds, good showers, idyllic surroundings, the Ben Nevis Inn nearby for food and drink (and local musicians on a Thursday night). Loved staying here!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to hike Ben Nevis. This was the perfect place to do that! It was an easy walk to the trail head. We ate breakfast at 7:30 and started our hike by 9am. Our stay here was wonderful. It felt like staying at a relative's house instead of a bed and breakfast. Breakfast was great as well! The smoothies were delicious and we loved the selection of cheeses. The location was serene. After our hike, we were able to relax. There is also a river that you can walk to at the back of the property which was a nice place to sit and enjoy the environment. If you are considering staying here, we highly recommend!

This place is amazing. Started here with my daughter to celebrate her birthday and climb the Ben + do some other hiking. Perfect location, cottage in perfect working order - clean, warm and cosy. Just a few metres away from the lovely Ben Nevis Inn. Dom was an epic host. Super responsive, flexible, informative, kind and even ran us down to the station for our train. Absolutely brilliant find. We'll be back. A tip - book directly!!
