What visitors say
Stayed a week in a privately owned caravan. Our caravan was very nice. The location is fantastic, if you like quiet out of the way. We booked the last week in April, possible it may be more lively as the season rolls on, can't say for sure. Dont expect a lively camp site. It has a few amenities such as laundrette, minimal young kids park. It has a bar / cafe. Open I think friday sat sun but again possibly increased opening times in high season please check . The Rabbits are very numerous and great to see as the hop about the site.

We went over the Christmas break. Arrived on December 23rd to 26th. First time away from home with my kids at Christmas. Took dogs too. I think due to the festive period it was very quiet. The kids didn't have much to do as facilities were closed, but played in the park and we went to the beach... just wasn't a great vibe. Christmas day WiFi just dropped, went. No TV no WiFi... so we had an old school day of board games, and improvisation, which was fun actually! Beats the kids being on their phones most the day. The caravan was lovely. The owner was so nice, however the experience for the kids was not great and they wouldn't go again. Maybe peak season would have been an idea.

The site is in a stunning location easy to find all the caravans are privately owned the site is well maintained clean tidy and everyone is nice and friendly. You have to book the pool but it’s no bother the lady in reception is super friendly. We stayed in Westmorland 32 and it’s great the reason for 4 stars is there is not much for the kids to do the park is tiny and rundown needs some tlc and it says that there is somewhere to get food and drink but this is only available Friday Saturday Sunday so most people on holiday Monday to Friday you will have to stock up on food or travel 30 minutes to the nearest town to eat out bit of a shame for the site they would do well. Anyway it’s still worth staying here
