What visitors say
This is a campsite not a hotel. Where we stayed in the rally field with West Wales DA a part of the Camping and Caravan Club. The field has excellent views out over Port Eynon beach and the Bristol Channel. There are water points and electric hook up available. Some pitches are flat but most are sloping so levelling blocks are required There are toilet and showers available, but these are located on the main campsite as is the pool, shop and bar. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to visit again👍

We stayed at Bank Farm Leisure in Horton, Swansea last weekend and had a fantastic time. The campsite is well maintained, clean, and in a brilliant location with easy access to the beach and stunning coastal views. The facilities were excellent and everything was kept tidy throughout our stay. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind for the weekend. We would highly recommend Bank Farm Leisure to anyone looking for a great camping experience in the Gower. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

This site is huge, it has 180 pitches! Contrast the size of the place with the number of toilets and showers which is definitely not enough to cater for the numbers of guests. The location is good in terms of proximity to the sea and the beaches are stunning. The major downside is the clientele. Some people I’m sure were decent but a lot of the people we saw were, loud, and not the sort of people you would want to live next door to shall we say. We arrived to loud music being played in the field we were allocated. Later another family arrived in the field behind us which was roughly 2 meters away from our tent and they proceeded to play loud music also. They decided to pitch 3 tents on one pitch contrary to the rules. We were kept awake until the early hours of the morning by music and loud, inconsiderate people despite the 10pm no noise rule. We did see security patrol twice but nothing changed after their presence in terms of noise levels. At 6am we were woken up by the sound of dogs barking and a child in the pitch behind (the one with the 3 tents) shouting his mother to say he wasn’t staying there again because he was cold! We proceeded to pack up our tent and belongings and check out that morning to avoid a repeat of our first night. We spoke to reception when we handed our electricity card in and explained we were leaving a day before schedule and explained our reasons. We were pleasantly surprised to be given a refund of the second night and the lady on reception was apologetic and professional in tone and manner. This site could be a gem if they enforced the rules regarding noise at night time and cleaned the showers and toilets more frequently. Also more showers and toilets would be beneficial considering the number of potential campers in a given night. Needless to say we won’t be returning and will be sure to read all reviews prior to booking anywhere again. The summary review based on all reviews fails to highlight the common negative themes other people have reported. If you are happy to camp in a place that feels like a festival and not get much sleep then this is your place. If you want a peaceful, restful camping experience, look elsewhere.

Ordered steak and pepper sauce and the sauce came out dark brown and tasting of honey. My friend also had pepper sauce which came out looking like pepper sauce. Apparently the chef batch cooks the sauce and mine had brown sugar and gravy browning in it 😮 I asked to speak to the chef but he was busy! He also burnt a pizza..
