The Gower Peninsula was Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Horton Farm sits within that landscape on a working farm near the village of Horton. The sandy beach here is a ten-minute walk away. The farmhouse itself blends period character with practical modern facilities, arranged across two floors with space enough for a group of ten.
Five bedrooms each have a television and DVD player; four come with en-suite facilities. Downstairs, two sitting rooms with woodburners and a separate dining room give you multiple spaces to spread out, while the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven, Rayburn, microwave and dishwasher. A conservatory opens onto a patio and garden. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are all covered. There is parking for four cars on site, and the property is non-smoking.
This works well for extended families or groups who want a base for coastal walks and exploring the peninsula's beaches and countryside. The location puts you on a farm setting rather than in a town, which shapes the quiet you get here.

Lovely old farmhouse full of features, 2 log burners, 2 lounges, sleeps 10 with 5 bathrooms/shower rooms. Great situation 15 minutes to the beach. Lovely walks along the coast.

Lovely house with 2 lounges , conservatory, dining room, utility room, five bedrooms with good ensuite capacity but some weak showers & excellent outdoor seating. Occasional slug trails in lounge the only downside but friendly locals and beautiful (but not too busy in August) beaches!
