What visitors say

Graham Duff

If you are in Glasgow and enjoy gaming, R-CADE is well worth a visit. The passion the team has for what they do is obvious from the moment you walk in. The staff are very cool, genuinely welcoming, and provide a friendly, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The selection they’ve packed into the venue is impressive. They have an incredible library of board games alongside consoles spanning the last half-century, giving you access to thousands of games. For me, the highlight was the nostalgia, and the passion that Andrew brought to the place. It was wonderful to relive the games of my youth, but what made it truly special was sharing that experience and introducing them to my 11-year-old son. He loved it just as much as I did, making it a great bridge between generations. We didn’t eat during our visit, but the iced coffees were lovely. We are already looking forward to visiting again next time we are in Glasgow. Thank you to the team at R-CADE for a brilliant experience!

RCade has been quickly become one of my favourite places to go - so much so I have taken advantage of the super pass monthly membership to help continue supporting. The staff have always been, and continue to be super friendly and welcoming not only to me but to others that walk through their doors - whether returning customers or new faces. RCade put on weekly events ranging from quizzes, board game nights or video game specific nights. With a huge catalog of retro games and a vast array of consoles, you’ll always find something to play - and if you are stuck, the staff are always prepared with ideas. Also, the cafe is also great! Monthly specials or regular favourites. Love a good toastie!

Best cafe in the city. Hands down, not biased at all. In all seriousness this place is genuinely wonderful, lovely kind staff, an amazing selection of games in a fun, inclusive venue. I’m here basically every weekend at this point. The events held are always of great quality, value and fun (I’ve just gotten back from guitar hero night), with rotations and variations of different events all the time. The food on offer is amazing, I can never go to R-Cade without grabbing a cheese toastie or a slice of red velvet. Overall, amazing Cafe/3rd place/hangout spot. for a quick bite and a chill or a great evening of weird fun. Overall overall, R-Cade is awesome
