About ibis budget Glasgow
Concert nights, city-centre shopping and a choice of nearby pubs and restaurants are all within easy reach of ibis budget Glasgow, which sits by Springfield Quay with straightforward transport links into the rest of the city. Golf courses and other entertainment are also close by, making it a practical base whether you're here for a gig or just passing through.
The hotel has 165 rooms spread across three floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, and there are accessible rooms available. Rooms are on the compact side, but they're kept clean and the beds are comfortable. A restaurant and bar operate on site alongside a snack bar, and breakfast is served, though it's fairly basic rather than an elaborate spread. Staff are consistently described as helpful and friendly.
Practical extras include free on-site parking, a lift, luggage storage and a laundry service, and pets are welcome. Given the price point and the convenience of the location, it works well as a no-frills stopover for city visits or events.
What guests say
Great budget hotel. Lovely comfy beds and it was nice and quiet. The room had a tv and aircon. No tea and coffee facilities, but there is a 24 hour coffee station. The staff were really helpful. They let us leave our bags with them for the day after we had checked out. We were caught in a really heavy downpour on our way back to collect our bags and they gave us towels and hairdryers to dry ourselves before we left for the airport - really going above and beyond. Would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a good, reasonably priced place to stay. Only one suggestion - funny one, but toilet brushes in the rooms would be helpful!

Booked the hotel because its pretty central, has got parking amenities, and inclusive breakfast for a no-frills quick stay. Because it's mostly a room to sleep in, (my husband and I are watching a concert located within the vicinity) I love that it's pretty straightforward. Reception is on the 6th floor, and parking can be registered for your car (if you're driving) at reception, so that its free! Coffee station is 24 hours, and breakfast is from 630AM until 1030AM (so you can have a lie in, if you want!) The double room I booked is a decent size for 2 people, and is clean. It has a separate shower from the toilet, and the room has basic airconditioning, and a telly. Note that for my experience, there weren't any sockets near the bed, but there was one near the desk in the room. There is no kettle in the room, too - as theres a 24/7 coffee station situated near the reception area. Overall, good value for the price. Perfect for straightforward quick visits to the city and for accommodations for concerts. (Walking distance to OVO and SECC).

Disappointed with the room, booked for 10 nights for Comm Games. Accessible room with few facilities; needed a good clean and a lick of paint! Wet room needed a good clean, had many dirty ingrained marks. Hallway carpets dirty with a constant smell. Surprisingly the small beds were comfortable. Staff very good and helpful. Location good for what I needed but I would not stay there again and would not recommend. On arriving at Glasgow airport the taxi driver commented 'not good' when I told them which hotel - speaks volumes!!

Overall, our stay was brief but very pleasant. The room was on the smaller side, though perfectly adequate. We arrived before check-in time and the staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours, which was greatly appreciated. The reception staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was a fairly standard continental selection; however, the young gentleman overseeing the breakfast service was particularly accommodating. He went out of his way to provide gluten-free options for us and was also able to recommend several excellent restaurants in the city centre. Overall would recommend!

People say this hotel offers good value for money, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and helpful, friendly staff, as well as free parking and a convenient location for concerts and city access.
Other reviews mention the rooms can be very small and the breakfast can be limited.
