About Premier Inn Glasgow Cambuslang M74 Jct2a
Cambuslang Investment Park sits right by the M74's Junction 2a, on the eastern fringe of Glasgow where motorway links give way to industrial estates and, further out, open countryside with golf courses, fishing spots and stables within reach. Premier Inn Glasgow Cambuslang M74 Jct2a makes the most of that position, offering easy access into the city centre as well as straightforward links out towards the wider region.
The hotel has 76 rooms spread across two floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and drinks available in-room. Accessible rooms are available, and reception is staffed around the clock. Most rooms are kept clean and comfortable with beds that guests single out as a strong point, though standards can slip in some rooms, so it's worth flagging any issues early.
A restaurant on site covers breakfast and evening meals, with further pubs and eateries nearby for those who want a change of scene. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. Free parking is provided on site, and public transport connections add another straightforward way to reach the city centre or explore the surrounding area.
What guests say
On my own for the stay. Restaurant next door which has a good range and wasn't too busy. Room didn't have air conditioning and felt too stuffy despite having a fan available and the window open. Wasn't too noisy despite being alongside the M74. There was quite an aroma of smelly drains in the bathroom. Location was great for me as I was attending a course in South Glasgow, 15 minute drive.

Nice room but the shower pressure was very low. Next to a pub and also McDonald's and a KFC so options for food. Good amount of free parking.

Stayed for 5 nights while visiting family. Room was clean enough, just a little "tired"... unexpectedly no usb/phone charging sockets in the room, which these days is a reasonable expectation and only one socket outlet on one side of the bed. On the plus side, warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was good quality and quantity, table service for "cooked" order with buffet for cold. Didn't have an evening meal there, so can't say anything about that.

The room and service was amazing, it was my first time staying at a hotel and have never felt so comfortable. The welcome chocolate, ice cold water, mini fridge etc was a nice touch. Though I would've preferred a TV with a few more channels, but I didnt spend much time watching Only problem with the location is that I don't recommend it unless you are driving up here. I have spent at least £150 on ubers to and forth Glasgow City Centre over the past 5 days.
