What a fabulous place to stay in Glastonbury. It is clean, cosy and with a beautifully cooked breakfast in the morning, kindly delivered to our room. It felt very safe and a big thank you to our host who made us feel so welcome, like a home from home feel.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated and so so clean. Everything was spotless. Lovely bathroom with white fluffy towels. Now onto the breakfast. My husband and I had the full English which was the most delicious we have ever tasted and beautifully cooked by Steve the host and bought to us in our room.Having French press coffee was a bonus too.Steve is the most helpful and friendly person you could meet. Nothing was too much trouble. The only slight niggle was the steep stairs(we were warned about them )but as 80 year olds we managed pretty well . We would definitely stay there again no hesitation. Also one little tip to anyone coming by car. Park in St Johns road car park which is behind the shops in the High street and just walk through a little cut way called the Gauntlet. It brings you nearly opposite the Overlook. The cost for parking is £6.80 for 24 hours. Please stay at the Overlook byou will not be disappointed.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at The Overlook. One of the owners, Steve, greeted us with warmth, hospitality, and a smile. Our room was on the top floor, with a lovely view of High Street. Our bathroom was spacious and clean, with plenty of towels. The bedroom itself was well appointed and quite comfortable. Steve made sure that we had whatever amenities were necessary, including a kettle, and even a French press. He served us a lovely breakfast to our room at eight in the morning. My husband had the full English breakfast. Given my dairy allergy, Steve was able to whip up a dairy free yogurt, a beautiful fruit plate and some toast. Can’t remember the last time we had breakfast in bed! After check out, we left our bags with Steve and Glenn downstairs in their art store. We very much appreciated how they took the time to chat with us, and share all of their excitement and passion for their town of Glastonbury! We can’t wait to come back.

Lovely little b&b which is smack bang in the middle of things in Glastonbury. It’s obviously been recently refurbished and everything is as clean and neat as you could want. The water pressure in the shower is top notch and my room had loads of space, lots of power points, usb charging sockets and a Netflix account that I could use to watch something as I wound down after a long day of travelling. The host Steve is very friendly and helpful, bringing luggage up and down the stairs is no issue and every morning a full cooked breakfast arrives which is very convenient. When you’re finished you just leave your tray on the chest of drawers outside your room and it disappears. There are only two drawbacks, and they’re minor but important. Firstly there are a lot of stairs to get to the room, secondly the beds are very soft/not supportive if you have any kind of back or joint issue. Of course, for most people these things won’t be an issue, but still good to flag them.
