About Travelodge Glastonbury

Travelodge Glastonbury suits anyone after a straightforward, no-fuss base for exploring Somerset without spending too much on the room itself. It works well for road-trippers and families touring the area's landmarks, as well as for those simply passing through and wanting a comfortable night's sleep at a fair price.

The hotel has 48 rooms across three floors, served by a lift, with en-suite bathrooms and some rooms fitted out for accessibility. Rooms have been recently refreshed and are generally spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a bath, plus drinks available in the room. Some guests have noted that noise can carry between rooms, so light sleepers might want to bear that in mind. Breakfast is available on-site, and there's a pizza eatery, pub and restaurant nearby for other meals. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and parking is free and on a first-come, first-served basis, with accessible bays by reception and EV charging available at the nearby Tesco's car park.

Glastonbury Tor, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are all within reach, making this a practical stopover for anyone keen to explore the mystical and dramatic sides of Somerset. Pets are welcome, and there's a walking area close by for stretching legs after a day out.

Very handy for food with Tesco's, Subway, Domino's and a fish and chip shop right there. A walk into town took around 20 minutes. Glad I had my ear plugs however at night as it can get noisy outside. Room was clean and the girl on the front desk was friendly and helpful. Good value and good location for exploring the local area!

Would highly recommend. Lovely clean, friendly staff. No noise or smell from the outside. Which some reviews are saying. We stayed on the second floor facing the front on the garage. Had a lovely weekend stay. Will be returning in the future. Many thanks Travelodge keep going great spot to stay.
