One Adventure

Lovely camp site. There were mostly caravan campers, but as a solo bike packer I would highly recommend this place if you’re staying in a tent too! The facilities are amazing, there are picknick tables everywhere as well as extra chairs and a cafe spot where you can sit at night (which is great if you’re travelling light and don’t have space to bring your own chairs). The views are amazing and there’s lots of stuff to do (rent sups, boats, etc). The showers and toilets are clean, there is a laundry area and a book swap corner. The hosts are lovely people, they are incredibly friendly and laid back which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for a weekend and ended up staying longer It is such a lovely site Clean tranquil the gardens are kept lovely and as a added bonus a huge dog field which we enjoyed. We had lunch in the onsite cafe with was great value for money and the people who run it Linda and Tim are so lovely. The pitch we had overlooked the entire marina River and meadow. The owners were very welcoming seeing us to our pitch and giving us lots of local advice Fabulous site and people would highly recommend. Thank you for having us

We loved our visit so much last summer, we moved in permanently! We feel like we are in holiday all the time, the community here is second to none. My daughter feels safe and happy here with the amazing views and kind hearts around her. All our family and friends love to visit, with the owners welcoming their dogs and children. I couldn’t recommended this place highly enough. Above and beyond just 5 stars.

Been on our Boat now for a few weeks. Love the Marina, the sites kept smart and has such a relaxed feeling about it! The owners Martin & Karen are very welcoming! And try and make your experience on site a enjoyable one!
