This was our first stop on our NC500 trip. We only stayed one night but wished we'd booked in for two. Such a beautiful location. The guy who checked us in was super friendly and gave us lots of tips and directions on where to go. We parked our camper van quite near the toilet block which was very clean with plenty of toilets and showers... and a hairdryer which was 20p for a couple of minutes. Our plot was with EHU and very spacious. Dornoch is a short walk away with plenty of eating/drinking places. We had dinner in Surf & Turf and had our morning cuppa the following day in Cocoa Mountain which is well worth a visit. The beach is a 5 minute walk over the dunes and is beautiful. We kept hearing a rattling noise during our stay which we thought was a fault with our water pumper. On chatting to other campers who were also puzzled by the noise we realised the noise came from a nearby Army rifle range. Highly recommend this site and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic campsite! We spent a great night here. The site is very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. A huge plus is that the place is 100% dog-friendly. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, there are great pubs nearby, and there is a wonderful beach right next to it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect spot for a tent or camper!

This was a fabulous campsite. We arrived late in the day about 6pm and still managed to get a pitch. The facilities are so CLEAN. They are cleaned twice a day and smell great, there is also lots of space in them - you don’t feel you are encroaching on someone’s space. It is also beside a beautiful beach, one of the most fantastic beaches we’ve visited. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s also a little shop there for ice creams and gifts.

What a lovely little place. The site is located within walking distance to the centre and a short walk to the beach. The gentleman who booked me in was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Provided me with a map of Dornoch so I could find my way around. The facilities were clean and tidy. There is a laundry room which also has a fridge and freezer. Dornoch itself is beautiful and has a coop and a spa for any essentials.
