I took my fiancé here for 7 nights of camping. The location is amazing. My partner isn't English and had never experienced the Cornish Coast/beaches, so i was excited to show her what there is to experience. She is from Indonesia which obviously isn't short of beaches and sun so i was curious to know what she thought. She said it's the best holiday she's ever experienced, she loved going for a dip, the stars at night, the clean quality air, cornish cream tea etc. Weather was perfect too! She couldn't believe that England had locations like this to offer (We are from the midlands, and if you mention seaside, people think Skegness or Blackpool, not Pentewan!) The site itself is generally well kept; staff are friendly and approachable ( The seagulls are an absolute menace though!). The noise at night was minimal so our sleep was some of the best we've ever had. We found the pitches sizeable and generally quite affordable for what's on offer. There didn't seem to be as much regulation or rules on awning and camping equipment like some other sites have. I was a little disappointed having to pay for WiFi for the week that was only valid for one device. Seemed a little steep, but this wasn't a deal breaker by any means. The Beach club is lovely, and we enjoyed the Karaoke night especially (she loves to sing). The local drinks weren't as expensive as other places we've been to before and there was a wide variety on offer. The food we paid for was also of a high standard and was reasonably priced. The indoor pools are small, but well-kept and nice to use. I feel there should be some mention of having to use money to have the locker key ( i didn't see any signage for this, and not many people carry cash on them, especially when going to the pool) but again, this is super minor. The onsite shop was decent, offered a wide variety of gifts, food, drinks etc. The pricing was reasonable and for some items, quite surprising at how affordable they were. We expected significant mark up on some of the items when compared to a typical supermarket but was pleasantly surprised at the pricing. I do want to make an explicit mention for lovely ladies at reception who helped my fiancé when she was experiencing a false labor - Braxton Hicks (She's third trimester), for the first time and was in a fair bit of distress and pain. They were very supportive, understanding and helped me try to find a way to get to the Royal Hospital. They provided a fan and a chair for support and a cup of tea she didn't have a chance to drink as we rushed off shortly after. I didn't manage to get their names, but i'm sure if you mention the event they'll remember - Thank you to all for being so understanding and supportive! We thought we may be having the little one a bit early and some 100+ miles away from where we intended to be when the time arises! Thank you so much for a lovely time, we will absolutely be back again (and with a little one alongside us, next time) and we plan to make this a regular childhood memory for our Son as he matures through life. The only difficult part of this stay was leaving! For anyone thinking of coming here by yourself, with your partner, or with a family, absolutely do it! Its a wonderful location with some lovely walks, exceptional beach and water quality and some lovely picturesque surrounding villages (Mevagissey is only 1.5 miles away and is a must visit) Thanks again, Pentewan Sands Holiday Park!

Beautiful location. Well maintained. Great pool. We stayed in a static caravan. I was surprised to find that the bed sheets were simply left on the beds for us to make ourselves. It seems odd that guests are expected to make their own beds on arrival, yet are still expected to strip them before departure. For a site that promotes itself as 5-star accommodation, I would have expected a higher standard of service.

We spent two wonderful days here with our daughter, and we absolutely loved our stay. Everything was spotless and exceptionally well organized. The whole experience made us feel as though the entire service was tailored just for us. We would definitely love to come back!

We have just returned home from our first holiday of 2026 (will be back later in the year) It is our 60th year of holidaying at Pentewan & we are the second generation of five to holiday there. We have seen many changes & improvements. It is an ideal site situated on the beach, very well maintained & clean, a credit to management & staff. Reception staff are all friendly & helpful. Toilet/shower blocks are cleaned regularly, there are many locations on site to eat, a club house with spectacular views across the bay, indoor pool, adventure golf, tennis courts, arcade, well stocked shop, watersports on the beach & cycle hire in the village. Close by there is the Eden Project, Lost gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey & many more places to visit. Why do we keep going back? We love it there!!!!
