Raceway Kart Centre

Great venue. We never knew it existed but it was great fun. We had ages of 10-50 and All had a ball. The toilet facilities were a bit non-existent (dried out portacabin). We had to grab our own helmets and overalls but what an experience on the track. Not sure if the individual timings were correct but it’s the taking part that counts. We had a great time though. Staff were very polite and helpful. Would certainly recommend coming here.

Top gaff… Well looked after by Jake and Dylan, who went above and beyond. Their help, technical knowledge, and great attitude made the day run incredibly smoothly. It’s rare to find a track where both owner-drivers and arrive-and-drive karters are looked after so well simultaneously. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Come here last month for a joint birthday day out, thought we'd found a good venue with all the good reviews but far from. Track pretty neglected and in need of repairs, very bumpy most of the way around. Paid for the the "ultimate grand prix" where we was supposed to get 10 min qual, 45 min race then 10 min fastest and slowest...got nothing like! They had booked 3 parties on in close succession, had supermoto pitbikes and private 2 stroke karts in between the 3 parties, just took the money and dealt with it on the day and their heads were falling off, 2 of our karts werent even on the lap times and not recording times so times were made up and was the slowest 2 even though one was the fastest! Everyone was complaining and surprised there isn't any bad reviews for that day to be fair. We all made them aware we weren't getting what we paid for and they tried to convince us we paid for the super gp and not ultimate gp, we had the email confirmation, just a shoddy service from start to finish if I'm honest. Paid £65pp with 12 people and feel like avigo in Rotherham is a better experience in terms of money spent. We scheduled 2 hour to be at this venue which would of been plenty of time and ended up being there for nearly 4 and a half hour due to how many they'd booked on in close succession! To add when making an official complaint when home to say well you told us we'd paid for super and not ultimate so since we only got a super experience you can refund is the difference of £15pp which is only fair to be told we can't do this but we can offer you a discount when we've upgraded the track and karts in October. Honestly don't waste your money on this place it's a shambles! Lucky you have to put a start rated in or would be getting 0 star!
