We've been using Leisure World swimming lessons for nearly 10 years, with both of my children starting as babies, and we still attend today. The reception team are always friendly, helpful and do their best to assist whenever needed. That said, there are some areas that could be improved. The swimming lessons can feel very inconsistent depending on the instructor. Some teachers are excellent, but others seem focused on following a script rather than adapting to individual children's needs or providing additional encouragement and support. At times it can feel like there isn't enough attention given to helping children overcome challenges or build confidence in the water. The changing rooms often have a strong smell and could benefit from more frequent cleaning and maintenance. The downstairs fun pool is also usually extremely busy, which can make it difficult to enjoy, especially during weekends and school holidays. The lessons are very reasonably priced, and for the cost they offer good value, which is probably why they remain so popular. Overall, Leisure World provides an affordable way for children to learn to swim, but there is definitely room for improvement in the quality and consistency of instruction and the overall customer experience. We'll continue attending because swimming is such an important life skill, but I'd love to see some investment in these areas.

We visited yesterday to use the leisure pool. I used to go as a kid, so haven’t been for a very long time. It was exactly as I remember it. It’s a bit rough around the edges, the pool area and toilets are not the cleanest, the lockers now require a mini padlock (they didn’t use to), but that’s no issue. We had a lot of fun using the slides and rapids. My only issues are that you now book a swimming session time, which is 1.5 hrs long. In my opinion this should be slightly longer. If you go on a busy day, you can be queuing for a while to use the slides/rapids which then use up a lot of your time and you feel like you don’t have a lot of time to enjoy the pools. a 2hr slot would be a lot better. Also the baby pool, was really cold, so cold in fact our babies couldn’t be in there long. All in all we did have a great time, and would visit again

Despite the slightly tired pool in places. The management (especially Kirsty) and the whole team were absolutely brilliant. They worked together to keep everyone safe, we’re so friendly and they even managed to find my sons goggles that went missing. We had an amazing time on all the slides and flumes and would definitely recommend for a brilliant day out!

Went yesterday as a birthday treat. Pools were OK & my kids had a good time but at over £55 for a family of 6 I was disappointed. Its a lot of money for what you get. The whole place needs a good clean/ overhaul. The changing rooms were disgusting. Myself & my 3 boys got changed in a cubicle thay had an overflowing bin including an old nappy & hair on the lid. It was still there when we left 90min later. Floors also covered in hair/ rubbish. We all left there feeling a bit grimes . For the cost I expect better cleanliness
