Captain’s Cottage

Captain's Cottage is a detached thatched house in Winterton-on-Sea village, sleeping six across three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor has a living room with a 40-inch TV, a dining room opening onto the garden, and a kitchen equipped for cooking and laundry. Upstairs are two further bedrooms. All beds have fresh linen, towels are provided, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. The house is yours alone; no smoking indoors.

Outside, there is parking for three cars, a front garden, and an enclosed rear lawn with a separate courtyard where garden furniture is laid out. The village shop is a two-minute walk, and the pub and restaurant are closer still. Winterton beach and its dunes nature reserve are within reach on foot, ideal for seal-watching between November and February or for longer walks through the reserve. Great Yarmouth's traditional seaside attractions lie nine miles away, while the Norfolk Broads—six miles off—offer boat hire and fishing. BeWILDerwood adventure park at Horning is also nearby for a day out.
