The Coach House

Great Yarmouth's coastline draws families and nature enthusiasts year-round, but The Coach House sits back from the busier seafront, positioned instead to overlook a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This converted barn stands on the edge of walking country, with nature trails accessible straight from the property and a landscape rich in bird life. The nearest sandy beaches at Winterton are roughly a mile away.

The building holds three bedrooms sleeping seven: a double with its own en-suite on the ground floor, a kingsize with a pull-out single upstairs, and two single beds in the third room, plus a separate shower room. The ground floor living spaces—sitting room with a wood-burning stove, dining room, and kitchen—all open onto an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue. A small games barn sits to one side. Parking for six cars is on site, and there is an electric vehicle charging point available. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided; the heating and stove fuel are covered. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

The property works well for groups wanting a quiet base for exploring the Broads, or for anyone drawn to the local RSPB reserve and boat trips through the waterways. Norwich lies 17 miles inland. Note that the pond in the front garden is unfenced, and the internal stairs are steep and narrow.
