Found the Hunters Lodge Hotel on a whim whilst roadtripping by typing in local restaurants/pubs with vegan/vegetarian options. Lovely food, presented very nicely with great options for carnivores, pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans. Good value for money. Lovely staff/owners, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere in quiet setting with a very cute tartan-carpet dining room

Stayed for 1 night as we passed through on our way back home. Linda was a great host, room was nice, warm & very quiet indeed, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was wonderful. All-in-all, Hunters Lodge was a great find. I would definitely recommend and stay again, without hesitation. Very quiet & reasonable indeed, compared to Gretna Hall Hotel. Thank you Linda, for a great stay.

Stayed for one night whilst we were guests at a wedding last week. We had a lovely evening and the breakfast was lovely. Would loved to have stayed longer. Family room was a really good size with an air conditioning which we put to good use. Thank you to Linda for being such a lovely host.
