Dol Afon
Gwynedd
Dol Afon is a converted stone barn sleeping seven across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for full self-catering, and a double and single bedroom with shower room. Upstairs, a kingsize bedroom has its own ensuite. The whole property is yours alone, with parking on site and an enclosed garden with patio and furniture.
What sets this place apart is the fishing available in the grounds—the river runs through the property. From the door, you can step straight into countryside for walking and birdwatching. Lake Bala, with sailing, windsurfing and a narrow gauge steam railway, is a short drive away. White water rafting and Snowdonia's outdoor activities are all within reach. A shop and pub are half a mile away. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; the wood burner has initial logs supplied. The barn is not suitable for smoking.
