Elidir Cottage comes fully equipped for self-catering. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washer-dryer and fridge-freezer, so you can prepare proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. Both bedrooms have ensuite or dedicated bathroom facilities—one with a kingsize bed and shower, the other with zip-and-link singles and a bath plus shower. The living space opens onto a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ. Oil central heating keeps things warm, Wi-Fi connects you to the outside world if you need it, and bed linen and towels are provided. On-site parking means no hunting for spaces.
The cottage stands on farmland near Bontnewydd, a 5-minute drive from Caernarfon and its medieval castle. The village shop and pub are roughly half a mile away. From the property you can see across to Elidir peak and Snowdonia. Dinas Dinlle beach, popular with families, is 5 miles south. The Lon Eifion cycle path runs through the village, offering quieter routes for bikes. Horse riding, golf and steam train journeys all operate locally. A 20-mile trip takes you to Ty Coch, a pub directly on sand; further afield, the longest zip wire in the world runs through a disused quarry near Bethesda. No smoking indoors.

Nice location terrible host obsessed with her rubbish bins and (GOES THROUGH YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS WHEN YOU GO OUT ). dated furniture filthy dirty house. We agreed with Booking.Com that we can arrive at 16:00 we arrived at 15:37 and she blanked the door until 16:30 she also said be out by 9am but on Booking.Com its 10am I requested the barbecue and it arrived filthy dirty we had no cleaning equipment because we was on HOLIDAY!! we walked down to her property to ask for a brush no answer tried calling and no answer so we used a sink brush. She the "host" did not return or assist us at all that night. My friend was sick outside most likely down to dirty barbecue. We got up next day to head in to town to get something to settle his stomach. when we returned the host had entered the property she searched the washing machine with our dirty washing in it searched my wallet in my room 20 pounds missing. went mad over what was in OUR BIN! Told me I cannot drink and drive home tomorrow even though we have a driver the absolute cheek of this Karen we're not teenagers we're in our late 30s and it was our first night. I paid for the sink brush 2.49p and we packed up and drove 350 mile home. Ruined our holiday and I would recommend not staying in this property.
