The Llŷn Peninsula's quiet beaches and rolling countryside form the backdrop to Encil-Y-Mor, a detached dormer bungalow a short walk from the shore. Snowdonia National Park lies within reach for hill walking and outdoor pursuits, while Criccieth itself—dominated by its 13th-century castle—has shops, pubs and restaurants within half a mile. Porthmadog harbour, four miles away, is the starting point for Ffestiniog Railway steam train journeys; Portmeirion village, with its golf and riding, is also nearby.
The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to nine. Ground-floor accommodation includes two living areas (one with a TV and Xbox, the other a sun room), a kitchen with a full range of appliances, and two bedrooms—one ensuite. Upstairs are two further bedrooms. The gardens are lawned and open to the countryside, with patio seating and parking for three cars. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; one well-behaved pet stays free. The property is not suitable for smoking. Note that the patio has an unfenced drop to the garden below, and the stairs are open and steep.
