Gaerwen

Criccieth's position on the Lleyn Peninsula makes it a natural base for exploring the coastline and Snowdonia beyond. The town sits on the high street itself, within a few paces of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and the beach lies just beyond that. Gaerwen is a terraced Victorian townhouse spread across three floors, offering accommodation for six across four bedrooms—a kingsize and three singles—plus one bathroom and a separate toilet. The second floor holds the main living space, where the view stretches across rooftops towards the sea and mountains.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with both electric oven and gas hob, alongside the usual appliances. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided. An enclosed lawned garden with patio and seating lies off the first floor. On-road parking is available outside. The property is non-smoking. Access involves open, steep spiral stairs in places, and the entrance requires climbing two steps.

From here, the Criccieth castle headland and coastal path are within walking distance, as is Portmeirion. The gently rolling countryside of the peninsula offers several beaches to explore, while Snowdonia National Park provides opportunities for outdoor activity ranging from walking to golf, fishing and horse riding.
