The Auction House

You arrive to find The Auction House transformed from its days as a chapel and auction rooms into something between a grand hall and a family home. The first-floor living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of it—a single space with dramatically high ceilings, a woodburner, and a big table built for feeding groups. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with a full range of appliances. Five bedrooms and two bathrooms are spread across the two storeys, sleeping eleven in total. One bedroom has a kingsize and a single; three others have either a kingsize or two singles; the remaining bedroom contains two singles. Pets stay free, though the property does not permit smoking.

Criccieth is a working seaside town on the Llyn Peninsula, with a beach within walking distance and pubs nearby. You have private parking for four cars on site, plus room to park on the road. Wifi is included, along with bed linen, towels and the essentials—heating, electricity and initial fuel for the woodburner are all covered. The enclosed front garden has a sitting-out area. There is a 21-step entrance, and the first-floor bedroom and ensuite are accessed via five steps from the main living area.
