Garreg Gudd is a mid-terrace cottage in the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, surrounded by Snowdonia's dramatic terrain. The moment you step inside, the contrast between old and new becomes clear: exposed stonework and original slate floors meet a wood-burning stove and contemporary comforts. The living room opens onto a dining area, and the kitchen is properly equipped for cooking. A walk-in shower room sits on the ground floor, with an extra cloakroom upstairs for convenience.

Two bedrooms occupy the upper floor—one with a king-size bed and views toward the mountains, the other with a double bed. The whole cottage is yours alone, with wifi throughout and all essentials covered. An enclosed front patio faces the street and catches afternoon light, a pleasant place to settle with a drink. No smoking inside the property. One dog is welcome.

The location puts you within reach of mountain biking trails, heritage railways, underground attractions and zip adventures. Shops and cafés line the streets nearby. A boutique cinema occupies a converted historic building directly opposite. Coastal towns with castles and beaches are a drive away, as is Portmeirion, but most guests come for the hills and outdoor routes that start minutes from the door.
