Mountains rise directly behind this coastal house, and the beach lies within easy walking distance—the location puts you between two of Eryri's main draws without requiring a car to reach either. Slate mining heritage, woodland walks, water sports and the Talyllyn narrow-gauge railway are all nearby. Even in poor weather, the house itself keeps a group occupied: there's a games room with pool table, a wood burner for the living room, and enough space that ten people don't feel cramped.
Hafan Yr Haul is arranged upside-down, with bedrooms on the ground floor (one en-suite with walk-in shower, two others with zip-and-link super king beds that split into twins if needed) and the living spaces upstairs. The first floor opens into one large area where cooking, dining and sitting happen together—a contemporary kitchen with island, Range cooker and full appliances sits alongside a dining table for ten and a living room with Smart TV and wood burner. There's a separate en-suite bedroom upstairs too, plus an extra toilet. Essentials like electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; the wood burner's first fuel is too. You get parking for three cars and a back garden with patio and barbecue.
The house suits family groups and friends travelling together—no stag or hen parties. A low wall borders parts of the garden perimeter. Smoking is not permitted.

We stayed as a group of 7 at Hafan Yr Haul in August 2025. It easily accommodated us all and we loved the open plan kitchen and dining area and spacious living room. The kids enjoyed having a games room and when we could get them away we enjoyed hiking to the Arthog waterfalls, and around the Lakes, which are a short drive away. There is easy access to the Mawddach trail which we used to cycle to Barmouth and Fairbourne. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at Hafan Yr Haul. The accommodation is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Our daughter has multiple environmental allergies and she was very well in this property. The hosts were very accommodating. The location and views are stunning. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay over Christmas. The house was immaculately presented and decorated for Christmas which provided the perfect setting for us to relax and enjoy the house and local area. The layout, with the large open kitchen, diner and living space made for a perfect home for us to enjoy and the views are amazing. Lots of fun things to enjoy locally and would definitely return. Our host, Angela, was on hand to make sure our stay went smoothly - thank you and all the very best for the New Year. Philip & family

Where to start……….This house is absolutely amazing and we have had an amazing time from start to finish. It was our second time at the house and it never fails to disappoint. The house was absolutely immaculate and the bed was very comfy, the living spaces are spacious and fantastically decorated, with unreal views all around, they truly never get old. This place really has everything, from parking to board games to underfloor heating. I recommended this place to any family who is looking for an an amazing/safe place to make memories to last a lifetime. I hope we are lucky enough to book this place again in the future.
