Criccieth's seafront location means the beach is a short walk away, and Criccieth Multigolf operates seasonal kayaking, paddle boarding and beach biking alongside mini golf. The Ffestiniog Railway departs from Porthmadog five miles south, running steam trains into Snowdonia National Park. Portmeirion and its Italianate architecture lie within reach for a day out, and the town itself has local restaurants and shops.

Maes y Mor is a detached house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating eight guests. The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview Smart TV and open fire, a second sitting room, a kitchen with electric range and dishwasher opening onto a garden, and three bedrooms—two doubles and one with bunk beds. Upstairs is a fourth double bedroom. Bathrooms include a bath and cubicle shower with heated towel rail, plus a separate shower room. A lawned garden with patio and parking for four cars complete the setup. One well-behaved pet stays free. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered in your booking, along with the initial fuel for the fire and a welcome pack. The house is non-smoking.
